What, did you think I was just gonna post without offering something as well? ;)

Wow, I just noticed it’s been eleven (11!!!!) days since I last wrote anything here…didn’t realize I was gone for that long, damn. Life gets crazy sometimes, finally got away on a bit of a summer vacation (after talking about em since June lol). I hope you’ve all been well, I see there was some craziness while I was gone, lol, looks like Hilary went bonkers in the Congo, Bill pushed his Korea trip in Harlem (while talking about how great Hil is, of course…which, really, is what spouses should do for one another…funny that the one accused of being less faithful puts on a better face in public…or is it?), and Obama and Company are pushing ever-toward a United Socialist America…this is what I get for taking my bi-annual vacation, I guess!

Of course, one of the all-time traditions of summer vacations is taking pictures, it’s so interesting to watch people change over the years. For that matter, it’s pretty cool to look at how technology has changed over the years, too, and I gotta say…I don’t miss having to spend $1 per picture for Polaroid™ film or having to drop off and pick up developed photos. Of course, if you have older photos, they probably haven’t aged as well as the people in them…or maybe they have…and it’s scary! ;)

So if you’ve got old photos, I recommend you check out these guys, they specialize in restoring old photos. They’ve gotten rave reviews from CNNMoney, Popular Photography, and Ancestry Magazine. They clean up scratches and fading and they color correct, all by hand. The most important part is they guarantee the safe handling of your photos, which as we all know are usually irreplacable. They can provide cleanups of slides, negatives, and prints, and they even send you the shipping materials to ensure the protection of your memories. You can try 20 scans for free, just pay S&H.
