Find an amazing price on ANY new car!
…of course I mean the so-called “Cash for Clunkers” (or as I like to call it, “welfare for the masses” and “misguided delay toward a healthy economy”) program, not the actual things we drive around in (although, if doomsayers are right, and we’ve hit “Peak Oil”…it might be closer than we realize…click on the Agora Financial link for more info if you’re interested). Seriously, though, what’s next? Trade in your appliances for more energy-efficient ones? Trade your TV for a telescreen?
But enough of that doomsayer and naysayer talk, at least for the remainder of this post (or so I hope).
I’m not here to terrify you or shake your foundations, but if you save some money and start thinking a little about the bigger picture I think everyone can be better for it (really, though…who am I to talk? I can’t see the renewable forest for the trees
).
These guys work with thousands of new and used car dealers nationwide, all of whom are looking to move inventory quickly (this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, since there are so many unused cars sitting on ships and in backlots right now…well…thanks to auotmotive welfare, maybe not, but give it a couple weeks or so…). Many of these dealers can sell the vehicles below invoice price or cost, because they get kickbacks and volume discounts from the manufacturers—all based on how many cars and trucks they sell!
You’ve probably had that friend, the guy or gal that always gets the “most amazing!!” deal on their car purchases. Isn’t it your turn to be that guy or gal? Seriously, you should never pay invoice or even MSRP—you can always find cars below either one! Sure, you could go buy a reposessed car, or a used one, but why buy someone else’s problems? Especially when you can get a new car for a great price!
